Because he was in the area ,he refused my offer of payment and simply asked me to pass the name on if the opportunity arose.

We have used Jamie several times for jobs big and small after moving to a new house. He is always on time and professional and has gone the extra mile to fix or install things quickly. When the old oil boiler gave up the ghost he and Peter recommended a model and had it fitted within a couple of days. They also fitted a Hive system so we can use a phone app to control heating and hot water. Our oil usage has reduced by 35% annually and the boiler will have paid for itself in about 5 years. We also use them for the boiler's annual service.

Jamie was the only plumber that managed to help us out when we had a leak coming in through our dining room ceiling 8 days before Christmas, after we found out a mouse ate through a pipe. Other so called 24/7 plumbers didn't answer their phone or said they were too busy, even though I explained the leak had been going for 24 hours and we now had a big hole in the ceiling after trying to source the leak, as initially we thought it was the roof with all the rain, we did not know there was pipework there. He was polite and respectful to our property, as he covered his shoes with shoe covers to protect the carpet, he was careful with not bashing the ladder off any doors/walls. I mention this, as it is just as important as doing a good job, as we have had tradesmen in the past who have been quite rough and dented/marked walls etc. He fixed the problem in no time at all and we were kept up-to-date by his lovely Office Manager if he was running late on another job, which we didn't mind about at all, we were just glad he came! Thanks again for helping out in a very stressful situation.

Brilliant service provided by Jamie when I needed a plumber on a Sunday between Xmas and New Year! The builders had nailed through some pipes which caused a leak in the wall through to downstairs neighbour. Jamie was able to patch both copper and plastic pipes as well as fix a cable which had been damaged. The neighbour had sourced another emergency plumber earlier in the day who ended up breaking the service valve meaning we couldn't get the water back on after all the repairs. Jamie managed to source a valve and came back that evening to replace it so I wouldn't be left without water overnight. Really going above and beyond! Would highly recommend.

Delighted with the transformation Jamie and his colleagues have made to our bathroom in south Edinburgh. We had been let down by several other bathroom specialists, either not turning up for estimate appointments or calling off after pricing the work. Axis Mundi came on personal recommendation. I'm very glad I followed that. Work was done to a high standard, always on time, and at very reasonable cost. They were adaptable to late changes in our specification, and Jamie himself made several valuable suggestions. Our bathroom had previously been a functional room but one with dated furnishings and decor. It was stripped out - almost completely- and has been thoroughly renovated. It's now a room that we can be proud of. Based on our experience, I have no hesitation in recommending Axis Mundi.

Would highly recommend using Axis Mundi. Moved into a new house and required various radiators removed and new ones fitted before carpets were put down. I explained that we were under very tight deadlines, Jamie and his team were very accommodating to our time scales. They arrived the next day at advised time, completed the removal of old radiators, re-routed the piping and completed remedial work to plasterboard and paintwork. Next day they returned at advised time to hang our new radiators. Cannot stress how relieved we were to have the works completed before new carpets went down. Fantastic work, communication and customer service all the way through. All done at a great price. Will be calling them back in future for additional work.

Boiler started leaking a couple of days before I went on holiday, tried to fix it myself but realised I'd have to bite the bullet and fit a new boiler. I called Jamie and and explained the problem, he shifted a couple of jobs around to get my boiler fitted the next day! Had two other plumbers that gave me their first available dates weeks away... the Boiler was fitted in a day so we weren't left without water at all.
